Celebrating @clintrhodes birthday with a quick, 26-hour trip to Las Vegas! 🎉 We landed in Vegas, had the best dinner at @bardot_lv, then threw money away at the blackjack tables. #gamblingisdumb

Tomorrow we’re going to the @lvaces vs @nyliberty @wnba game (the hubs got really into women’s basketball after watching the collegiate women in March Madness) and then we head home.

It’s a super quick trip, but I think it’s the best way to do Vegas. Dip in and out before you need to go to rehab. 😂

Guess who drove for the first time since breaking their wrist 9 weeks ago? 🙋🏽‍♀️

I headed to the @dallascodemocrats HQ this afternoon to volunteer (Go @kamalaharris!) and instead of Uber’ing there like I did last weekend, I decided to actually drive. My surgeon cleared me to drive a week and a half ago, but I was being a wimp/chicken/scaredy cat so kept putting it off. But today I did it. And it wasn’t that scary. It’s a bit hard to turn the wheel when I don’t have full strength or movement in my hand or wrist. But it’s fine. I really don’t love driving and would gladly be a passenger princess forever. 👸🏽 But I think Clyft — that’s @clintrhodes + Lyft 😂 — is ready to be done being my chauffeur.

OMG! 🥹 I’m so excited to be back on Team Coeur for 2025! 🎉 Representing @coeursports has been one of the highlights of my year. Between a failed Ironman 70.3 attempt this spring and a cycling accident and wrist surgery this summer, it’s been A LOT. I don’t know if I could have bounced back and stopped feeling sorry for myself as quickly if it weren’t for this tribe of supportive, inspiring, and accomplished women. I can’t wait to race with the team in 2025. LFG!!

This @rnnr.co hat arrived today, and I took it for a quick test drive. Just like my other Rnnr hats, I’m a huge fan! — Super lightweight, cute yet neutral-ish pattern, and easy to rinse or wash after a run.

Another post-surgery/recovery first for me today — first open water swim since breaking my wrist! And man, it was delightful. I definitely wasn’t fast, but I felt strong and steady, and my sighting was on point. 💪 And the bonus was seeing so many of my tri friends up with the sun. 🥹☀️ I love you, vitamin D!

Before I started this morning I told myself I was going to do four laps around the buoys, but I felt great at lap four so added in another one. I definitely could have done a 6th loop, but I was worried I would run out of time. But I wouldn’t have. I definitely should have gone for it.

Sadly, that was the last open water swim session of the season with @trinow_multisport, although… I’m wondering who I have to bribe to get another couple on the calendar while the weather is still so pleasant. @vegantricoach @debuting1971 🤗

I’m trying to get more strength training in these days, and it’s so much easier doing it at home with the @onepeloton app than driving by to the gym. Tonight’s strength class was with one of my faves @rebeccakennedynyc followed by a stretch with @adrianwilliamsnyc. Highly recommend!
